Landing in Gangtok, Sikkim’s capital, you’re instantly hit by the fresh mountain air and the quiet charm of the hills. Unlike the chaos of larger cities, Gangtok offers a peaceful pace with cozy cafes, scenic views, and spotless streets.
Tucked away in the northeastern corner of India, Sikkim is a hidden gem that feels like a dream painted in shades of green, white, and blue. With snow-capped peaks, vibrant monasteries, and warm-hearted locals, this small state packs a punch when it comes to natural beauty and culture. The best time to visit Sikkim depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. Here's a quick breakdown by season…
Spring (March to May) – Best Overall
Why go: Pleasant weather, blooming rhododendrons, and clear views of the Himalayas.
Ideal for: Sightseeing, trekking, photography, nature lovers.
Events: Rhododendron Festival, many local fairs and religious festivals.
Summer (June to early July) – Good but Warmer
Why go: Still pleasant in the mountains, especially for escaping the heat in other parts of India.
Ideal for: Family trips, road trips to places like Lachung, Yumthang Valley.
Note: Avoid if you're not a fan of crowds—summer holidays attract more tourists.
Monsoon (Mid-July to early September) – Avoid if Possible
Why not: Heavy rains can cause landslides and roadblocks.
Ideal for: Budget travelers or monsoon chasers, but not recommended for first-timers.
Autumn (September to November) – Crystal-Clear Views
Why go: Post-monsoon freshness, clean skies, and great views of Mt. Kanchenjunga.
Ideal for: Photography, trekking, and cultural exploration.
Events: Pang Lhabsol (a major Sikkimese festival), Dashain, Tihar.
Winter (December to February) – Snow & Serenity
Why go: Snowy landscapes in North Sikkim (Lachen, Lachung, Yumthang, Nathula).
Ideal for: Snow lovers, quiet retreats, and honeymooners.
Note: Some roads may be closed due to snow, so plan carefully.

Day 1 at Gangtok : Arrival and Transfer to Hotel for check in
Our representative will receive You at NJP/Siliguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport. You will be assisted for the Check at Hotel, Transfer from Station 3 Hrs. To 4 Hrs. near about 120 K.M. to go to the Hotel, Check into hotel, which is located on M.G Marg or Changu Bus stand site, the place where you can enjoy a couple of lovely Sunrise and sunset view which is more mesmerizing after the 'sunsets'. After Breakfast Gangtok Local Sightseeing. Afternoon free to roam around M.G Marg, Food Stall or local Shopping center. At 9 PM, Dinner and Night stay at Hotel.
Day 2 at Gangtok : Long Sightseeing and Night Stay at Hotel
In the Morning after Breakfast We will go to the Famous Changu (Tsomgo) Lake, New Baba Mandir (Temple) and Nathula Pass (as per Condition). We will return back to Hotel at Evening and free to roam around M.G Marg, Food Stall or local Shopping center. At 9 PM, Dinner and Night stay at Hotel.
Day 3 at Lachung : Long Sightseeing and Night Stay at Lachung Hotel
In the morning having breakfast some unseen will be unveiled to you. We will go to Lachung. At 9 PM, Dinner and Night stay at Hotel.
Day 4 at Gangtok : Long Sightseeing and Night Stay at Hotel
In the morning having breakfast We will go to Mesmerizing Long Sightseeing like, Yumthang, Zero Point etc. We will return back to Gangtok Hotel at Evening and free to roam around M.G Marg or local Shopping center. At 9 PM, Dinner and Night stay at Hotel.
Day 5 : Departure
Cherish your memories. After early breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to NJP/Siliguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with a sweet Sikkim vacation cherish your memories forever.
